Domenico “Domenic/Dom”- Owner/President of DLI Contracting Inc. Emigrated from Italy to the United States when he was 16 years old. He joined Rocco Contracting (which was owned by his father, Joe) during the summer of 1975. While working full time for Rocco Contacting during the day, Domenico took college courses in engineering at night. Even as a young man he proved to be hard working and dedicated.
In 1989 with the vast knowledge and hands on experience he acquired working for Rocco Contracting, Domenico opened up his own business, DLI Contracting Inc. Domenico started DLI with one purpose: to do exceptional work with the highest quality materials; never turning down jobs, no matter how big or small. Domenico began DLI Contracting Inc with two machines and three trucks. Domenico has since grown the company; today DLI owns 35 pieces of machinery and trucks. No matter how big the company becomes Domenico is still committed to providing the same customer service and exceptional work that has made him and his company a trusted staple on Long Island these past 25 years.
Antonio “Tony”- DLI Contracting is a family affair; Antonio is Domenico’s younger brother. He began working for DLI Contracting Inc. in 1993. A foreman for DLI; Tony is responsible for approximately ten (10) employees at any given time. Tony’s area of expertise lies in residential work. However, this talented leader is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to commercial work. Not only is he knowledgeable, talented and responsible but his commitment to his craft and the employees he oversees makes him a valuable asset to DLI Contracting Inc.
Richard “Richie”- Richie is DLI Contracting Inc.’s head mechanic; he is also a driver for our company. Richie has been with DLI since its inception (1989). He is fiercely loyal and detail oriented. Meticulous in everything he does. DLI is fortunate to have such a dedicated employee as part of it family.
Thomas “Tommy”- Richie’s son. Tommy has been a valuable member of DLI Contracting Inc since he was ten (10) years old; he would help his father clean the trucks on Saturday. Now in his thirties, Tommy is a Jack of all Trades he is DLI’s mechanic, welder, fabricator, and driver. To describe Tommy merely talented is an understatement.
Louis “Louie”- Louie has been a part of the DLI family since 1992. He is the leader of his own excavation and drainage crew. Louie is a diligent and responsible leader making him a vital member of DLI Contracting Inc.
Freddy - DLI’s head mason. Freddy trained under Nicola “The Old Italian Mason” who retired at the age of 70. Not only does Freddy speak Spanish but he is fluent in Italian which he learned from his coworkers. The skills he learned under Nicola and his innate gift make him an asset to this company.
Armando - Armando is a valued employee who is a member of Tonys crew. He has been with DLI Contracting Inc for over ten (10) years. His positive attitude and dependable nature make him indispensable.
Alberto - Is a truck driver for DLI Contracting Inc. He has a variety of skills during the summer months he works with DLI, during the winter he works in the chocolate industry.
Giovanni - Has been with DLI Contracting Inc. since 1989. He is motivated and dependable. Giovanni is an essential member of Tony’s crew.
Joseph “Joe” - The newest addition to the DLI family. Having previously worked for his father company for many years Joe is a Jack of all trades. We look forward to see all the great things he can help DLI accomplish.
Karem – Has been working for DLI Contracting Inc since 2011. Karem makes sure the office runs efficiently.
